At TfD Therapy, our terms and conditions outline the agreement between the therapist and the clients. It includes details about the therapy services, the responsibilities of both parties, the confidentiality of the sessions, the payment terms, and the cancellation policy. Our terms and conditions are designed to ensure a transparent and professional therapeutic relationship.

§1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for psychotherapeutic services between Sven Law - TfD Therapy and the client that are concluded via the website or in person.

§2 Subject matter of the contract
The subject matter of the contract is psychotherapeutic services in accordance with § 611 BGB (German Civil Code). This is a service for which success is not guaranteed.

§3 Conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded by agreeing an appointment by email, telephone or online booking. By agreeing to an appointment, the client accepts these T&Cs.

§4 Services and methods
The services offered include psychotherapeutic consultations, counselling and, if necessary, coaching.

As a freelancer and independent entrepreneur, the contractor provides the following services to the client:

Healing psychotherapeutic treatments (in accordance with the German Heikpraktikergesetz (HeilP)), psychological counselling, coaching and courses.

It is expressly pointed out that no promises of healing are made. 

§5 Fees and terms of payment
The fee is €80 per session (60 minutes) for Initial Assessment (in person), €75 for a Follow-Up (in person) and €75 for an Assessment (online) and €70 for a Follow-Up (online). Payment is made in advance by purchase booking through the website, or in cash on site. If an appointment is cancelled less than 48 business hours (Monday to Friday) in advance or if the client does not show up, the appointment fee is Non-Refundable except where expressly agreed between the service and client.
Cancellation of booked or agreed individual sessions – If a firmly agreed treatment appointment or individual session is not attended, the client shall owe the contractor a cancellation fee amounting to 100% of the agreed total fee. The cancellation fee is payable immediately.

This payment obligation does not apply if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the agreed appointment or if the client is prevented from attending the appointment through no fault of their own. In such a case, the reason for the cancellation must be communicated immediately and, upon request, proven.

§6 Right of withdrawal
Clients have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons, provided that the contract was concluded online or by telephone. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the notice of withdrawal in good time.

§7 Confidentiality and data protection
All information disclosed during therapy is subject to confidentiality. Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. A separate privacy policy is available on the website.

§8 Liability
No liability is assumed for the success of the therapy. Claims for damages are excluded, unless there is gross negligence or intent.

§9 Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is Paderborn, insofar as this is legally permissible. German law applies.

§10 Severability clause
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
